I am a very passionate dentist and enjoy looking after the
patients here in Borehamwood. I qualified in 1998 from Sheffield University.
I enjoy most aspects of dentistry but have a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry.
I have completed a number of year-long courses with top British cosmetic dentists.
I alsohave a keen interest in painless root canal treatment. Keeping at the
forefront of dental education is very important to me.

I am proud to be the owner of Borehamwood dental practice and look

Jonathan qualified in 1998 from the University of Sheffield and has spent the last ten years developing his interests within dentistry. This has included completing courses in Advanced Restorative Dentistry and Implant Dentistry. Jonathan is also about to embark on a year course on Cosmetic Dentistry. Jonathan also has a special interest in children's dentistry. .

Outside of working hours Jonathan attends a monthly dental research group called
ADAPT which keeps him in touch with the cutting edge of the profession.
Jonathan is married with three children.

Medina has been at the practice for five years working as a dedicated dental nurse.
In 2007 she gained her official nursing qualifications and has continued to be a
huge help in the surgery. On top of this, Medina has furthered her interests
through a recognised course in Oral Health Education.

Medina has a wonderful way with patients and is always
there to make them feel welcome.

Michaela has been with us since December 2008 and has become an integral part
of the practice. Michaela first qualified as a Dental Technician in 1999 and after four
years undertook a career in nursing gaining her qualifications in 2008.

With her calm and friendly nature Michaela helps her patients
feel at ease in the surgery.

Maria joined the team at the beginning of 2009 working along side our practice manager. As your first point of contact at the practice Maria is there to be friendly and helpful so that your experience at the practice is as pleasurable as possible.

Edita joined the practice in October 2008 as a practice manager/receptionist and has recently obtained a Diploma in Practice Management from Dental Resource Company. Edita is also a qualified dental nurse and has 9 years of dental nursing experience in NHS and private sectors. Edita deals with the day-to-day running of the practice and takes time to listen to patients concerns and makes their visit at the practice memorable and as comfortable as possible .

Her continual smile and encouraging words are always reassuring.

Gyongyi is a dental therapist/hygienist. She qualified in 2008 in London.

She is committed to making her patients feel comfortable under her care. Her considerate nature and chairside manner has resulted in her establishing great relationships with her patients.

As most patients are aware of the role of the hygienist, we thought that it might be beneficial to tell you something about Dental Therapists. Dental Therapists are qualified to carry out all treatment that a hygienist can provide but in addition to this they can carry out simple fillings on both adults and children and can remove children's teeth.
